Meet Our Team

Jim Dubrowsky, Jr.Owner

Jim is a Georgetown graduate and former CPA with big city experience and small town roots. He founded Village Auto Body in 1985, where treating customers like family and performing quality and efficient repairs have been his guiding business principles for more than 30 years. His commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction has built Village Auto Body’s reputation as the Hamptons’ trusted name in collision repair. Jim’s leadership continues to drive the shop’s dedication to using only the highest quality parts and materials for every repair.

Joe MilazzoGeneral Manager

Joe joined Village Auto Body in 2005 and has been an integral part of the team for twenty years. A St. Joseph’s College graduate, his love of cars—classic Volkswagens in particular—attracted him to the business, where he’s grown through the ranks guided by Village Auto Body’s practice of exceeding expectations and putting the customer first. Joe is BMW, I-CAR, ASE, PPG and BASF certified, ensuring every repair meets the highest industry standards. When he’s not managing the shop, Joe enjoys collecting and playing retro video games, mountain biking, and cheering on the New York Rangers and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Daniel Schroeder Head Technician

Born and raised in Bellport, New York, Daniel served six years in the U.S. Army working on Apache helicopters before transitioning to auto body repair after being medically retired. He attended trade school for body work and has been working professionally in the field for seven years, with five of those years dedicated to Village Auto Body. Daniel is BMW structural and non-structural certified, as well as ASE and I-CAR certified, bringing military precision and technical expertise to every repair. In his free time, Daniel enjoys fishing and following his favorite New York teams—the Yankees, Knicks, and Giants.

Jesse Haight Painter

Born and raised in Hampton Bays, Jesse has been perfecting his craft at Village Auto Body for sixteen years. As a certified BMW, BASF, ASE and PPG refinish technician, Jesse brings unmatched expertise to every paint job, ensuring flawless finishes that restore vehicles to showroom quality. His dedication to precision and quality has made him a cornerstone of Village Auto Body’s reputation for excellence. When he’s not in the paint booth, Jesse enjoys working out, playing golf, and rooting for the Islanders, Mets, and Jets.

William SpanoTechnician

Born and raised in Flanders, Long Island, William has been in the automotive industry for nearly ten years, with five of those years at Village Auto Body. He has comprehensive training in nearly every department of the repair process, making him a versatile and valuable member of the team. William’s attention to detail and broad expertise ensure that every aspect of your vehicle’s repair is handled with professional care. Outside of work, his passions include his Monte Carlo, cigars, wrestling, and root beer.
